The Sterilisation Engineer will play a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of sterilisation processes for medical devices. The position supports cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while driving process improvements. This technical role requires a solid understanding of engineering principles, including electrical, scientific, and general engineering.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and validate sterilisation processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute validation protocols, including IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification), for both new and existing products.
- Provide technical expertise in sterilisation techniques, material compatibility, and process improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sterilisation processes and equipment, including implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and prepare technical documentation, including risk assessments and process validations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for sterilisation processes during regulatory audits and inspections.
- Collaborate in design reviews to integrate sterilisation requirements early in the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in an engineering role within the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on sterilisation processes.
- Proven expertise in sterilisation methods and familiarity with industry standards.
