We are currently working with a Leitrim based client who is actively recruitng for a Process Engineer to join their manufacturing plant.
Reporting to the Moulding Production Manager, the primary function of this role is to assume responsibility for the control and management of all process driven systems within the Injection Moulding department and direct daily activities in accordance with Company policies.

Reporting to the Moulding Production Manager, the primary function of this role is to assume responsibility for the control and management of all process driven systems within the Injection Moulding department and direct daily activities in accordance with Company policies.
Responsibilities:
- New tool debug, set up and validation
- Process optimisation using DOE and Statistical Methodology
- Responsible for control of overall quality, process capability, and associated documentation
- Troubleshooting of process, equipment and systems problems using sound engineering principles and data driven decisions
- Provide training and support to Production Technicians
- Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree level qualification in Polymer Science or another relevant Engineering discipline and/or proven equivalent experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role
- Sound analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using a variety of moulding machine types and associated ancillary equipment
