We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Utilities Engineer on a contract basis for a Sligo based client. Joining a team of 4, the Electrical Engineer will support the sites service and will be supporting projects and day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:
- Support Site Services Team in the Turnover/Commissioning of Project.
- Conduct Walk downs with Project Team on behalf of Site & Generate Punch-list as required.
- Manage Punch-list and Oversee Close out of raised Punches.
- Review Documentation of various systems prior to turnover.
- Liaise with Project System Owners as required.
- Assist with the Commissioning & Supporting of System Integration.
- Ensure Safety & Quality standards are met, and safe working practices adhered to
- Developing a project plan and qualification strategy in line with sites requirements.
- Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicate any shortfalls in specific areas of the plan and where needed identify solutions to address the shortfalls.
- Organise and or attend any necessary meetings that are required for progress gathering or plan alignment
- To communicate with project stakeholders required support.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical Trade qualified (QQI Level 6) – Advanced Craft Electrical Cert or Electrical & Instrumentation Cert
- 5 years’ experience in Engineering or related discipline is a necessary requirement for this position with project management experience.
- Knowledge/Understanding of Site Electrical Infrastructure, Substations, Electrical Distribution, PLC’s, Electrical Drawings, P&ID’s, IS.101010, etc.
- Comfortable using IT applications including MS Word, Excel etc.
