We are recruiting a BTS specialist to join our clients Biologics site located in Sligo. The BTS Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all necessary technical support and administration is provided for all IT / BTS plant systems. This person will provide end-to-end technical solution support and ensure high availability of IT services for Manufacturing, Lab and supporting functions & areas throughout the site.

Responsibilities:
- Comply with the companies BTS Road map
- Support of manufacturing and laboratory systems including maintenance and backups.
- Lead Abbvie IT manufacturing systems and application projects
- Participation in cross functional teams and initiatives across the site
- Comply with all corporate policies
- Implementation and updating of all IT policies
- Validation / Qualification of hardware and software
- Liaise with project managers to ensure new product introduction projects meet targets
- Liaise with IT Contractors/Consultants and ensure compliance with contractor management site polices
- Training of employees on relevant applications
- Identify and implement process improvement
- Adheres to and supports all EH&S standards and polices
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent relevant discipline required
- 3 years plus of relevant IT experience essential
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in IT manufacturing system / application support role
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Capability to prioritise and multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Initiative and innovation to generate and implement continuous improvements.
- ITIL desirable
- GAMP desirable
